eesa
by vgskye
eesa is a Fabric bridge that lets mods written for the Curios system run on the Trinkets equipment system, with a lightweight option for players who want accessory slots on 1.21.1.
What it does
eesa, short for Extended Equipment Slot Adapter, implements the Curios interface on top of Trinkets, so Curios-based mods can place their items into Trinkets slots without a separate Curios install. The bridge also covers missing interface methods that Curios-based mods call, and it includes a migration path that carries Curios save data over to eesa. Fabric API, Kilt and Trinkets are required, and McQoy is an optional companion.
The mod is labelled experimental and unfinished in its current form. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.21.1, with v0.1.5 as the latest build, released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later. The source code and issue tracker are public, so the bridge can be inspected and reported against.
Key features
Curios interface implementation
The Curios interface is implemented on top of Trinkets, so mods that call its methods can register their items and slots.
Curios data migration
Existing Curios save data can be migrated to eesa, so slot contents carry over when a world changes its equipment mods.
Missing interface coverage
Several methods of the Curios interface that Trinkets does not expose directly are filled in by the bridge, which is the main limit of its current state.
Trinkets-based slots
Slots are created through the Trinkets system rather than a separate inventory, so they share Trinkets' slot management.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players and server owners on Fabric 1.21.1 who want Curios-style accessory content without installing the Curios mod itself. Because the bridge is unfinished, it suits testing worlds more than long-running servers.

What the author says
A bridge from Curios to Trinkets. Very experimental and unfinished! EESA implements Curios's API using Trinkets, so you can use Curios-based NeoForge mods on Fabric with Trinkets.
