Dumpster
by Nerjal_Nosk
Dumpster, a Fabric and Quilt management tool, writes game registries and data to files on demand, so modpack creators can inspect what the game loaded.
What it does
A dump command exports the game's registries, and a separate option exports data such as tags, recipes and loot tables. A combined dump command runs both at once. Because the mod is intended for datapack and modpack work, its output lets a creator check what the game actually contains and how recipes and tags resolve, without reading the source of each mod.
The mod includes a small configuration file, dumpster.properties, found in the config folder. It sets whether tags and recipes are dumped, whether data and registries are dumped on reload or at startup, and how the dump files are organized. Either side can run Dumpster alone, and neither side needs it. On a server, the command is limited to OP players by default, and a player on a client can use the dumpster command without operator rights. Dumpster is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric and Quilt for 1.19 – 1.19.2.
Key features
Registry dump command
The dump registries command writes the game's registries to files, one of the core functions of the mod.
Data dump command
The dump data command exports tags, recipes, loot tables and other specific data, and the pure dump command runs both exports together.
Configurable output
dumpster.properties sets which parts are dumped, when dumping happens during reload or startup, and how the output files are organized.
Modded recipe types
Dumpster can process recipe types added by other mods through a RecipeJsonParser interface, registered as a recipe-dump entry point in fabric.mod.json.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
