Duch-ArmorHUD is a Fabric client HUD that shows armor, held weapon and item counts on screen, so players can check gear without opening the inventory.

What it does

The HUD lists the durability of each armor piece (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots) and of the held weapon or tool, updating in real time. Swords and tools may be fixed to the top or bottom edge of the list. Item counts track arrows, potions, food, totems and any item chosen by its ID, and new IDs can be added.

Durability values change color as items wear down, moving from green to orange to red, and the thresholds are configurable. Optional low-durability warnings use a bounce animation, a red pulse background or both before an item is about to break. Anchor position in a screen corner, custom X and Y offsets, scale, row and icon spacing, an optional semi-transparent rounded background with adjustable opacity and a text shadow toggle are all adjustable.

The mod runs on the client alone, so players install it and servers need nothing. It requires Cloth Config API and Duchessentials, and Fabric API is needed as well. ModMenu is optional and gives access to the settings in an in-game screen instead of editing files. Builds cover 1.21 – 1.21.11 across seven release versions, with 1.0.0 for 1.21.10 as the latest file, and the code is under All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
