Drogtor the Nickinator

Drogtor the Nickinator lets a player set a display nickname on a server, along with a chosen name color from the 15 or 16 Minecraft colors.
What it does
Players run a command with a desired nickname to take it, and a second command to set a color by name. A reset command returns the nickname and color to their defaults. The mod checks whether a requested nickname is already taken before it is applied, and black cannot be used as a color.
The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything and only the server runs it. Drogtor the Nickinator works even when it is installed on the server alone. It is published for Fabric, Forge and Quilt across seven game versions, 1.4.7 – 1.19.2, and is open source under the MIT License.
