QDResLoader is a small Quilt utility that loads resource packs placed in a mod's resources directory, without extracting zip files.

What it does

The mod reuses the functionality of the QSL Resource Loader, so a mod author only has to place files in the resources directory and the data and assets folders are read in the usual layout. Its author describes the code as about ten lines of Java, with a few later additions. It is published for Quilt only, with builds across 9 release versions 1.18 – 1.20.1, and the license is CC0 1.0 Universal, so the project is open source. Only the client needs it for resource loading, and a server can run without it.
