DispenserTweaks StationAPI

by Telvarost

DispenserTweaks StationAPI changes how dispensers handle water and lava, letting them pick up and place fluids with buckets on the Minecraft Beta build.

FabricBabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen sourceb1.7.3

What it does

Two dispenser behaviors are available: a modern mode that lets dispensers place and pick up water and lava with buckets, and a modded variant that changes how fluid placement works. Both are off by default and can be turned on in the mod's settings screen, which needs Mod Menu to open.

Dispensers no longer pick up source blocks of water or lava and leave them dry, so fluid pumps keep working. The mod runs on client and server, and needs StationAPI, which must be present on both sides. Files target Fabric and Babric for b1.7.3 only, with snapshot builds published alongside releases.

Key features

  1. Modern dispenser fluid placement

Dispensers can place and pick up water and lava with buckets, matching later Minecraft recipes.

  2. Modded dispenser variant

An alternate fluid placement mode adds different dispenser behavior, toggled separately in the settings.

  3. Fluid placement sound selection

The sound played when a dispenser places fluid can be chosen from several options.

  4. Dry-safe fluid pumps

Dispensers do not drain source blocks, so pumps that draw from water or lava do not run dry.
