Disc Jockey Plus
Disc Jockey Plus is a fork of Disc Jockey made outside the original project, and it plays NBS song files through note-block sounds on an 88-key piano, which includes an editor inside the game.
What it does
The mod plays NBS song files through a piano screen that uses the note-block timbre, and it can play MIDI files directly in the same screen with live key highlighting. A real-time spectrum visualization runs alongside playback. Songs are picked from a GUI opened from the top-left corner of a screen, and a sleep timer can stop playback after a set time.
The mod includes a piano-roll NBS editor that writes and edits songs without leaving the game, plus MIDI-to-NBS conversion. Conversion is non-destructive, and NBS pitch repair, Clamp Fold instrument remapping and a preview are included. A built-in MidiRecorder captures sustain pedal CC64, reverb CC91 and CC93, and per-note ADSR envelopes, with recordings saved automatically to the recordings folder.
Cloth Config API and Fabric API are required, so both must be installed alongside the mod. The project is published for Fabric and NeoForge, with files for 26.2 and 26.3 and the latest file dated 2026-10-14. It is open source under the MIT License and runs client-side only, so players install it and servers do not need it. PianoLib requires this mod, and Mod Menu is an optional companion.
