Diegetic
Diegetic shows information that a player would normally look up elsewhere, such as coordinates and slime chunk status, as items and in-world displays instead of on the screen.
What it does
Some of the F3 debug information that is normally available to players becomes part of ordinary play. Coordinates, time of day and whether the player stands in a slime chunk are gained by using items during gameplay. A Recovery Compass, for example, shows relative coordinates, and the chunk check tells the player when they are inside one. The time shown can be set to follow real-world time instead of the game clock.
The behaviour is controlled by gamerules. Default features are enabled by default, and the gamerule command turns individual ones off, such as the slime chunk checking rule, which can be set to false. The mod is published for Fabric 1.21 – 1.21.11, with the latest Fabric file for 1.21.11, and it is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. Fabric API is required. Only the server needs the mod, so players join without installing it. Shader packs from the gallery, such as BSL and CaptTatsu, are supported by the display.

Use cases
Survival without the debug screen
Players who want location information without opening F3 can rely on in-game items and displays.

Who it’s for: Players who prefer in-world information and server owners who want to control which information is available through gamerules.

The items used to measure information may be subject to change. By default, all of features are enabled (their gamerules are true). These can be modified with the gamerule command, ex: /gamerule diegetic:slime_chunk_checking false.
