DeepMobLearningReloaded
by Artan'sMod
DeepMobLearningReloaded lets players train data models by defeating mobs, then turn the trained models into drops that feed a simulation chamber for higher tiers.
What it does
Defeating monsters with a Deep Learner, in hand or in a simulation chamber, trains a data model for each mob type. A trained model is viewed by holding Ctrl and hovering over the data model, which lists the mobs it has been trained on. Models from the same mob type stack together, and once a model reaches higher tiers it can be run in the simulation chamber to obtain transmutational matter.
Drops depend on the source of the model: Overworld mobs produce Overworldian matter, Nether mobs produce Hellish matter, End mobs produce Extraterrestrial matter, and transmuted items keep the dimension they came from. The mod also adds data models for mobs from other mods, such as Elder Guardian, Magma Cube, Reliquary Reincarnations and DivineRPG Official, through its compatibility levels. Installation needs Architectury API and Artan'sProjectCoreMod on Forge, and the mod is published for Forge only, for 1.19.2 and 1.20.1, with 3.0.1 for 1.20.1 as the latest file.
The mod is open source under the MIT License and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Its data models cover the mobs of several collaborating mods, grouped by compatibility level.
Key features
Data models from mob kills
Defeating a monster with a Deep Learner trains the data model for that mob type, which is the base of the mod's progression.
Trained model inspection
Holding Ctrl while hovering over a data model lists the mobs it has been trained on.
Simulation chamber
Higher-tier data models are run in the simulation chamber to produce transmutational matter and related drops.
Dimension-based drops
Overworld, Nether and End mobs yield matter tied to their origin, and transmuted items keep that dimension.
Mod mob integration
Data models can be added for mobs from other mods, grouped into compatibility levels for several collaborating mods.
