Cronslab
by JackFred
Cronslab adds a redstone block that emits a signal on a schedule set by tick, second, minute, day or hour, using a cron-like syntax.
What it does
The block is configured with a schedule string that resembles cron expressions. Each field can name a tick, second, minute, day or hour, so one pattern can fire a pulse at a fixed moment, repeat it at an interval, or group several pulses inside a single cycle. Syntax details, along with the less obvious quirks, are described on the project wiki rather than in the mod itself.
The mod runs on NeoForge only, for Minecraft 1.21.11, and the environment is client and server, so both the server and every player need it. The code is not open source; the mod is released under All rights reserved, while the source code, issue tracker and wiki are public. The first file was published on 2026-02-02, and version 1.0.1 for 1.21.11 followed on 2026-02-05.
Key features
Scheduled redstone signals
The block emits a redstone signal whenever its schedule matches the current game time, with no extra circuitry.
Cron-style schedules
A schedule string sets tick, second, minute, day and hour fields, so timing can be written in one line.
Pulse patterns
A single schedule can produce several pulses at set offsets, for example three pulses spaced a few ticks apart.
Hourly and daily aliases
Shorter aliases cover common intervals, such as hourly triggers that run at the start of each hour.

Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Timed farms and machines
A scheduled pulse can run a crop harvester or piston door at regular intervals without a clock circuit.
Day and night automation
Schedules that refer to the in-game day can switch lights or defenses at set times of day.
Who it’s for: Players building redstone clocks and automated bases on NeoForge 1.21.11, and server owners who want timed redstone events on a shared world.
How it compares
Extended Redstone is a NeoForge mod for 1.21.4, released under the Apache License 2.0 and not open source, and it also runs on client and server. Random Item Timer By Divvers is a NeoForge mod for 1.21.8 under the MIT License, not open source. Analog Redstone Lamp covers Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 1.21.2 – 1.21.11 and is open source under the MIT License. Cronslab targets only NeoForge 1.21.11 and is not open source, so it is the choice for schedules rather than broader version coverage.

What the author says
The Cronslab is a new redstone block for highly configurable redstone scheduling. Similar to cron, you can set it to emit a signal based on the given tick, second, minute or day. For a more detailed overview of the syntax, features and other quirks see the wiki.
