Craftable Arcane Essence lets players make the spell resource at a crafting table from Lapis Lazuli combined with an Amethyst Shard or a Diamond, which is useful when a spell scroll runs out.
What it does
Two crafting recipes turn Lapis Lazuli into Arcane Essence directly. Surrounding one Amethyst Shard with eight Lapis Lazuli yields seven Arcane Essence, and surrounding one Diamond with eight Lapis Lazuli yields nine. The recipes let a caster restock without hunting mobs for magic supplies, and they spare rarer materials from being ground down into loot-only use.
The mod is an addon for Iron's Spells n Spellbooks and cannot run without it, so Iron's Spells n Spellbooks must be installed alongside it. Craftable Arcane Essence is built for Forge and covers the game versions 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, with the latest file 1.0 for 1.20.6. The environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod, and it is released under All rights reserved, which means it is not open source.
Players who prefer casting to farming can keep their spell resources stocked through crafting alone. The recipes are simple and do not add new spells, blocks or screens, so the existing Iron's Spells interface stays the same.
