Compass Tweaked
by Macol
Compass Tweaked, a Fabric mod by Macol, adds two new compass variants and a HUD overlay that show more navigation data than the vanilla compass.
What it does
The Calibrated Compass points to a Lodestone and takes the dye color of the compass as its marker, while the Returning Compass points to the player's respawn point instead of the world spawn, and both markers can remain available together. The regular compass no longer pairs with Lodestones, so the Calibrated Compass takes over that role, and the Returning Compass restores the spawn-tracking that vanilla Recovery Compasses offered before.
The compass HUD overlay appears at the top of the screen while a compass is held and lists cardinal directions, diagonals and the markers, letting players orient themselves without opening the F3 debug screen. It is larger at the default GUI scale. The mod needs Fabric API, and Trinkets Updated is an optional companion for accessory slots. It is open source under the BSD 3-Clause License and is published for Fabric across six release versions, 1.21.1 – 26.3, with the latest file 1.0.3+mc26.3 dated 2026-09-17.
