Command Runner1
by ParroteX2
Command Runner is a datapack that runs commands placed inside a single tick.mcfunction file on every game tick.
What it does
Once the datapack is installed, a creator edits the included tick.mcfunction file and writes Minecraft commands into it. Each command in that file runs automatically every game tick, which makes it possible to build custom mechanics, particles and effects without setting up scoreboards, timers or function chains first. The datapack handles the execution itself, so the file is the only part a creator touches.
The mod is aimed at beginners learning Minecraft commands, experienced datapack creators who want a starting point, and people who use command blocks often and want a more organized project. It is also used for testing minigames, mapmaking and command experiments. The project stays simple to read and extend with new ideas, since the mod itself adds no gameplay changes and only provides a clean command execution system.
Command Runner is required on the server, while clients may leave it out. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack for server platforms, across 17 release versions, 1.21 – 26.3. The code is released under the MIT License, and the mod is not open source.
