combo Auth

combo Auth lets players with Ely.by accounts join a server running in online mode, alongside players who use Mojang accounts.
What it does
Online-mode servers normally accept only Mojang accounts. combo Auth adds a second check: when a Mojang login fails, the join attempt is passed to Ely.by, and a player who passes that test is allowed onto the server. Players with Mojang accounts go through the usual Mojang check and are not affected by the extra step.
The mod combines two authentication systems without changing the server itself. Which systems are tried, and in what order, follows the server configuration. It requires Fabric API and is published for Fabric only, with builds across 65 release versions, 1.7.5 – 1.21. For Ely.by players to join, the server configuration should set enforce-secure-profile=false, which turns off message signing for those accounts.
The mod is open source under the MIT License and has public links to its source code and issue tracker. It was first published on 2023-06-24 and last updated on 2024-06-13, when the latest Fabric file, 1.3.1 for 1.21, appeared.
