AuthProxy
AuthProxy lets a Minecraft server authenticate players with Mojang's servers through a SOCKS or HTTP proxy that the server owner supplies.
What it does
On servers in regions where connecting to Mojang's authentication service is unreliable, AuthProxy routes the online-mode login check through a user-provided proxy. The proxy is configured on the server, so players join normally and need nothing extra. Both SOCKS and HTTP proxies are supported, and the server log reports when a proxy is in use.
The mod is installed on the server only. Minecraft's client already includes built-in proxy support, so the client side needs no changes and players are not asked to install anything. Files are published for Fabric and cover 1.16 – 26.1.1, with 0.0.3 as the latest build for 26.1.1, released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later, and the project is open source.
Key features
Proxied online authentication
Online-mode login checks are sent through a proxy the server owner specifies, for servers that cannot reach Mojang directly.
SOCKS and HTTP proxies
Both proxy types can be used, so the operator can pick whichever one their network provides.
Server-only installation
Only the server needs the mod, and clients connect as they normally would.
Logged proxy usage
The server log shows when a proxy is being used for authentication, which helps when diagnosing connection problems.

Use cases
Servers in restricted regions
A server whose players cannot reach Mojang's authentication service can route logins through a proxy the operator controls.
Who it’s for: Server owners who run online-mode servers and need a proxy for the authentication step. It has no use on single-player worlds or client-only setups.
How it compares
AuthlibProxyForServer also runs on the server alone, is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, and covers 1.14.4 – 26.2, a wider range than AuthProxy. Simpler Auth is server-side only under the MIT License, but it is published for 1.16.5 – 1.19 and handles authentication differently. RespectProxyOptions is client-side only, not open source, and is published for 1.20.1, so it does not affect the server login step.
