Cobblemon: CobbleStrike!
by kopper.nico
Cobblemon: CobbleStrike! lets Pokémon fight in real time in the overworld, outside the turn-based battle screen.
What it does
CobbleStrike turns Pokémon into real-time combat companions that use their equipped moves while players explore. Attacks land on the environment and on Minecraft mobs, and field moves can interact with blocks and creatures around the Pokémon. Built on Cobblemon's native battle effects, it adds animations, particles, sounds and projectiles to every move, so a fight happens in the world instead of a separate screen.
Move visuals follow a cascading fallback. A move uses its exact animation when one exists, then its move category, then its elemental type, and finally a generic effect, so moves without a dedicated animation still show a visual. Status moves such as Swords Dance or Agility trigger status-style animations instead of generic attacks. The mod works alongside Futurepack Enabler, which backports effects to upcoming Cobblemon ports without extra configuration.
CobbleStrike requires Cobblemon and Cobblemon - Fight or Flight, and works with the Fight or Flight mod. It is published for Forge only, for Minecraft 1.20.1, and the client and server both need it. The license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
