Cobblemon: PokeRider
by kopper.nico
Cobblemon: PokeRider lets players ride Pokémon in the Cobblemon mod, with riding seats and movement set for each species.
What it does
Riders attach to bones defined on each Pokémon's model, so the seat follows the creature's animations instead of sitting on a generic static point. Each species has its own seating positions, riding poses and mount configuration, and the poses change with the Pokémon's movement state. Speed and stamina based Pokémon stats shape how a creature moves under a rider, and a level 1 Pokémon with low Speed does not move like a trained one.
Flight and water travel depend on the species. Some Pokémon can carry more than one rider, and aquatic species move more freely across water, which suits rivers, lakes and underwater areas. Players can dismount with Shift and F, and a Pokémon that is no longer ridden can be picked up and carried. The mod requires Cobblemon and KopperLib, and it is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Files are published for Forge only, across six game versions, with the latest build on 1.20.6.
