CobbleSpawnRegions
by Hysocs
CobbleSpawnRegions lets server owners define named regions that control where and how Cobblemon Pokémon spawn, and it works only on the server.
What it does
Server owners create named regions and choose how Cobblemon spawning behaves inside each one. Regions can be drawn from exact block positions or from full chunks, with claim sticks used to select the area. When regions overlap, the one with higher priority decides the spawn rules for the shared space, and the smaller region wins a tie.
Natural spawns can be switched off entirely inside a region, or limited to exclude specific species, which are identified by Cobblemon labels and scanned condition strings. Players can optionally bypass these restrictions with the Pokémon they own, so owned Pokémon are not affected by a region's rules.
The mod requires Cobblemon, E-Utils, Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin, and it targets the 1.21.1 release on Fabric only. It is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and its source code and wiki are public. Only the server needs it, so players join without installing anything.
Key features
Region-based spawn control
Named regions set how Cobblemon spawning behaves inside their borders, from regional spawns to none at all.
Chunk and block selection
Claim sticks mark exact block positions or whole chunks, so a region can match a town, a route or a single building.
Priority for overlapping regions
Higher-priority regions take control of shared areas first, and a smaller region settles ties between equal priorities.
Species exclusions
Natural spawns can be disabled altogether or restricted to exclude Pokémon, matched by Cobblemon labels or condition strings.
Owner bypass
An optional setting lets player-owned Pokémon ignore region restrictions, keeping a party usable inside restricted areas.
