What it does

CobbleHunts adds a hunting system to Cobblemon. It offers two kinds of hunt: Global Hunts, which are shared by the whole server and reward community collaboration, and Solo Hunts, which are split into tiers so that each player can progress individually. Hunt rewards, timers and the Pokémon involved can all be set in the configuration.

The mod depends on Cobblemon, E-Utils, Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin, all of which must be installed alongside it. CobbleHunts is server-side only, so players join without installing anything. It is published for Fabric and 1.21.1, and the latest file, 1.1.2 for 1.21.1, is dated 2026-02-11. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.

Key features

  1. Global and Solo Hunts

Server-wide Global Hunts run alongside individual Solo Hunts, with four Solo tiers for players at different stages.

  2. Precise hunt targets

A hunt can name an exact Pokémon by ID, such as pikachu, and optionally a form like alolan, shiny status, gender or nature.

  3. Weighted hunt pools

Each Pokémon in a hunt pool carries a weight that sets how likely it is to be picked, and pools can be defined separately for each hunt type.

  4. Player hunt interface

A GUI lets players view active hunts, accept missions and turn in catches without typing commands.

  5. Admin commands

A primary hunts command and a full set of admin subcommands can reload configs live, manage player cooldowns and revert a mistaken turn-in.
