What it does
Crafting one of seven chiseling tables converts vanilla blocks into their chipped variants. The tables look different but work the same way, so a builder can choose the one that fits a particular build or place several around a home. Textures are hand-made in the vanilla style, and many of them use connected textures provided through Athena.
Chipped extends the idea of block variants to a much wider set of materials. It runs client and server, so a server and every player need the mod, and it requires Athena, Fabric API and Resourceful Lib. Versions 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.4, 1.21 and 1.21.1 have files for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the source code and issue tracker are public. Chipped is not open source and is distributed under All rights reserved, with the latest files dated 2024-10-15.
