Chat Sync
by sea4_18
Chat Sync sends messages from the Minecraft chat to a Discord channel through a webhook, and the messages are filtered before they leave the client.
What it does
Chat Sync listens to two Minecraft events and forwards chat messages, player chat, game messages and system messages such as deaths and achievements, to a Discord webhook. Each message is checked against a list of ignored patterns first, so lines the player does not want posted can be dropped before sending.
The mod runs on the client alone: a server does not need it, and players join servers without installing anything. Sending happens asynchronously, so posting to Discord does not stall the game. Fabric API is required, and Mod Menu is optional but needed for the in-game configuration screen. Chat Sync is released under the MIT License, not open source, and its files cover 1.21.10 – 1.21.11 on Fabric.
Key features
Webhook forwarding
Chat messages are posted to a configured Discord webhook as they arrive in the client.
Regex message filtering
An ignoredMessages array holds regex patterns, and any message matching one of them is not sent.
Asynchronous sending
Webhook requests run off the main thread, so posting does not cause lag in the game.
Config in two ways
Settings can be edited in the JSON file or through an in-game screen opened from Mod Menu.

Use cases
Mirroring a community chat
A player who runs a Discord channel for a world can relay what is said in game to members who are not online.
Logging achievements and deaths
System messages such as deaths and achievements can be forwarded, while noisy lines are removed by pattern.
Who it’s for: Players who want their in-game chat or game events posted to a Discord channel, and who are comfortable adding regex patterns to filter what is sent.
