Chat Macro
by spunkyinsaan
With Chat Macro, a single key combination sends a predefined chat command to the server, so repeated commands need no typing.
What it does
Chat Macro lets a player create custom macros, each one pairing a key combination with a chat message or command such as a home, warp or message command followed by its arguments. Once a macro is saved, pressing its combination sends the text to chat automatically. The mod ships with no predefined commands, so the player chooses every combination and every message.
Combinations can use Alt, Shift and Ctrl together with other keys, and as many macros as needed can be defined. The mod is a client-side tool: it changes nothing on the server and the server does not need it. Files are published for Fabric only, across 15 release versions 1.21 – 26.2, with 26.2 as the latest build, and the code is released under the MIT License, though the project is not open source.
Key features
Custom key macros
Each macro binds a configurable key combination to a chat message or command the player defines.
Add and save macros
New macros can be added and saved, so a list of commands can be kept for later use.
Instant command sending
Pressing a macro's key combination sends its command to chat without typing anything by hand.
Alt, Shift and Ctrl bindings
Combinations may include Alt, Shift and Ctrl, which lets many macros coexist on the same keys.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.

Use cases
Repeated server commands
A player who runs the same home or warp command over and over can bind it to one key combination.
Frequent messages
Standard messages sent in chat, such as greetings or coordinates, can be stored as macros and sent on demand.
Who it’s for: Players who type the same chat commands often, on single-player worlds or multiplayer servers that accept chat commands. Because the mod is client-side only, servers do not need to install it.
