Changed: Resist

by Park1423

Changed: Resist lets a player fight off a latex infection for a while by completing a minigame, and the minigame repeats every few minutes.

ForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1

What it does

Infection in this mod is handled through a minigame rather than a fixed timer. When the player is infected, a minigame must be completed to temporarily resist the transformation. The minigame is repeated roughly every few minutes, and its difficulty rises as play continues. Injecting human blood lowers that difficulty, which gives the player a way to make the minigame easier over time.

The mod is built as an add-on to Changed: Minecraft Mod, which must also be installed, and it targets Forge for 1.20.1 only. Changed: Resist runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. The author has released it under All rights reserved, and the project is not open source; the public issue tracker is the only public link provided. The first and latest file, 1.0.0 for 1.20.1, was published on 2026-08-22.

Key features

  1. Minigame-based resistance

Resisting a latex infection is done by completing a playable minigame instead of waiting for a timer.

  2. Repeating minigames

The minigame returns every few minutes, so resistance has to be re-earned throughout a session.

  3. Rising difficulty

Each round of the minigame gets harder as the player keeps going, raising the stakes of repeated play.

  4. Blood injections

Injecting human blood reduces the minigame's difficulty, giving players a way to ease the challenge.

Use cases

Playing through infection

A player infected by latex can use the minigame to hold off the transformation while exploring or building.

Who it’s for: Players of Changed: Minecraft Mod on Forge for 1.20.1 who want a repeating challenge around infection and resistance. Because the mod runs on both sides, server owners running the Changed content need to install it on the server too.
