Changed: Origins adds a Forge selection layer to the Changed transfur system, so a player picks a starting form before the transformation begins.
What it does
Changed: Origins connects Origin-style selection with the transfur mechanics of the Changed mod. A player chooses a starting form, and that choice becomes part of the character's progression. The add-on sits on top of the Changed: Minecraft Mod, Origins (Forge) and Changed Addon Plus, all of which must be present, and it works alongside the optional Alternate Origin GUI and Changed additions.
Several rules govern how the choice can change. Standard cures cannot revert an origin picked under Genetic Lock-in; the Litix-Camonia Fluid is the sole remedy that removes a deep-bonded infection. Consuming a different transfur source through Malleable Biology overwrites the current Origin at once, with no cooldown. Experiment 009 and Experiment 010 starting Origins are restricted unless Boss Transfur Permission is enabled and an admin approves the selection.
The mod is published for Forge and 1.20.1 only, and needs the latest Changed release and Minecraft Forge 1.20.1. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the project has a source repository, an issue tracker and a wiki.

Additional Transfurs is published for Forge 1.20.1 under All rights reserved and is not open source, and it runs on client and server. Changed Vanilla is open source under the MIT License, also for Forge 1.20.1 and client and server, so it is the closest license match. Changed: Synergy is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, with the same environment and version. Changed: Origins differs by adding Origin selection rules to these transfur setups.

This add-on fully integrates Origin-style selection with the Changed mod's transfur system. Choose your starting form Permanent Forms: Origins with "Genetic Lock-in" cannot be reverted by standard cures. Only Litix-Camonia Fluid can undo these deep-bonded infections. Laether Syringes and Unifusers will fail.
