Changed: Minecraft Mod transfurs a player into a latex creature, following the Changed setting by DragonSnow, and adds structures, blocks, creatures, emotes and transfurring mechanics for Forge.
What it does
Changed:MC brings the Changed setting by DragonSnow into Minecraft 1.18.2, drawing on alex n italy's Turned mod and built around transfurring. Players can become one of the latex creatures and receive the upgrades and downsides that come with the transformation. The content includes structures, blocks, creatures, emotes and a large set of mixins.
A transfur is started through an infuser, a stasis chamber and a purified syringe filled with blood. Selecting Transfur in the stasis chamber's Programs menu begins the process. A gamerule named keepConscious keeps a player conscious in places where they would otherwise die, and it is off by default. Another gamerule, keepForm, stops dying from reverting the transformation. Cheat commands /transfur and /tf apply a transfur, while /untransfur and /untf remove one.
Ownership of the mod is simple: it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for 1.18.2 and 1.20.1 under the MIT License, and the source code is open source. Changed additions, Changed: More Creatures and other mods listed on this page depend on it. Development targets a single Minecraft version at any given time.
