With Care to Share installed, handing items to a friend becomes a hold-and-give action instead of a drop onto the ground.

What it does

Care to Share changes how items move between players in the world. Holding out a hand offers the item in the player's hand to whoever is in front of them, and interacting with a held item takes the item they offer. The mod is an Economy mod that also sits in Equipment, Social and Utility, and it needs Fabric API.

Key features

  1. Hand-off sharing

    Holding out a hand offers the selected item to a nearby player, who can take it by interacting.

  2. Stack selection

    The item offered is the stack currently selected in the hotbar, so a whole stack can be passed on.

  3. No accidental drops

    Gifts go to a friend directly, so players stop dropping items on the ground to share them.
