Camera Command
by Varsid
Camera Command brings Bedrock Edition's camera command to Java Edition, letting server operators move a player's view around the world without moving the player.
What it does
Server operators can place a camera at a chosen position, with an optional rotation, and move it anywhere in the world with smooth easing. Switching a player between first person, third person back and third person front, or a free view, is part of the same command set, and a full-screen color fade can be triggered with configurable timing to mark a cinematic moment.
Because the camera is separate from the player's actual position, the player's character is not relocated and nothing suspicious is sent that anti-cheat systems would flag. Rotation can be set absolutely or relative to the current rotation. Fabric API is required, and the mod runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.21.1, with 1.0.1 as the latest file on the beta channel. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Use cases
Cinematic scenes
Server operators can stage scenes by moving the camera along a path, with easing between points.
Adventure maps
Map makers can reveal areas or switch views at key moments without relocating the player.
Who it’s for: Server operators and map makers who want to direct what players see. Players need the mod to receive the camera, and the server needs it to issue the commands.
How it compares
Third Person Camera is client-side only and published for Fabric for 1.21.1 – 1.21.11 under All rights reserved, so it changes only the view of the player who installs it. Simple Camera is also client-side only, licensed under the MIT License and published only for 1.21.1. Camera Command differs because it is operated from the server and needs both sides to run.
