Brick Furnace lets players craft furnaces, blast furnaces and smokers out of clay bricks, so a furnace is possible before any stone is mined.

What it does

Brick Furnace adds three cooking blocks made from clay: the Brick Furnace, the Brick Blast Furnace and the Brick Smoker. Each one cooks at the same speed as its vanilla counterpart. A config option sets a cook time factor for all three, and a server can disable the vanilla recipes entirely or block individual ones. Special recipes for the brick furnaces can be added through CraftTweaker datapacks, and villagers use the brick blast furnace and brick smoker as their workplaces.

The mod is built on the Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt loaders, and its files are available for 1.14.4 – 26.2. It uses the mechanisms of the FastFurnace mod to reduce lag. Installation needs Cloth Config API on every loader, and Fabric API on Fabric and Quilt. Just Enough Items and Mod Menu are optional. Brick Furnace runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it, and it is released under the MIT License as open source.   1. Clay cooking blocks

    Brick furnaces, brick blast furnaces and brick smokers are crafted from clay and cook at the same speed as their vanilla equivalents.

    Vanilla furnace recipes can be disabled completely, or only specific recipes can be blocked, which lets a server shape its progression.
