Bonzi Buddy
by Superkat32
Bonzi Buddy brings the Bonzi Buddy character into Minecraft as a minigame, where players help the buddy with tricks, games and emails while fighting clones.
What it does
The mod turns the Bonzi Buddy character into a minigame. Players can be paired with the buddy, perform tricks, play his games and send emails, and the content is built around the clones and bosses he leaves behind. Players can also show off hats and friends in the world, and a Legends hat is given for defeating three Bonzi Bosses.
Combat centers on Bonzi Bosses, which need to be taken down before time runs out. Additional clones can drop Banana Blasters that serve as the weapon against the bosses, and a boss that is not defeated can still reward players for lowering its health. A triple boss encounter, the Triple Bonzi Chaos, is meant for several players at once. Item loss is covered by a protection system, so items are insured during fights.
Bonzi Buddy runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It requires Fabric API and Geckolib, and is published for Fabric only, with a single build, 1.0.4 for 1.21, released 2024-07-11. The code is open source under the MIT License.
