With Bone Equipment, bones become the material for a full set of early tools and armor for players who run short of other resources.
What it does
Bone Equipment adds a crafted set of tools (pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe and sword), armor pieces and horse armor made from bones. The tools are stronger than stone and sit a little below iron, and the armor gives modest protection in the early game. The recipes are plain shaped crafts that fit into the normal vanilla crafting grid.
The mod is aimed at the stage of survival where iron and other materials are still scarce, and it offers an option that sits between stone and iron gear. It also contributes some decorative gear that stands out from the vanilla equipment. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files are published for Fabric and Quilt, with builds covering 1.19.4 – 1.21.
