Obsidian Equipment lets players smelt obsidian into ingots and use them as a material for armor and tools, much like other ores.

What it does

Obsidian can be smelted down into obsidian ingots. Those ingots then serve as a crafting material, so armor and tools can be made from obsidian the same way they are made from other ores. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge and Quilt across 10 release versions, 1.19.4 – 1.21.5, and it is released under the MIT License, so it is not open source. Client and server both need it, so every player on a server running it needs the mod too.
