Some More Obsidian!
by JackyW9cky
Some More Obsidian! lets players turn Obsidian and Crying Obsidian into Obsidian Ingots, which are then used to craft armor, tools and blocks.
What it does
Obsidian Ingots are the base material. Obsidian or Crying Obsidian is first gathered from the world, then smelted in a furnace to produce the ingots. Smelting excess Obsidian back into ingots is also possible, so surplus blocks are not wasted.
Armor and tools follow the same recipe patterns as other vanilla equipment, so a player who knows how to craft iron gear can apply the same layout with Obsidian Ingots. A full Obsidian Block can be made by filling a crafting table with ingots, and a Crying Obsidian block can be made by placing a Ghast Tear in the middle of the table and filling the rest with ingots. Forge is the only loader covered, and the mod runs on client and server. The files cover 1.12.2 and 1.20.1, with 1.0.0 for 1.12.2 as the latest file.
