Better With Time
Players who want a more technical Minecraft will find Better With Time, a Fabric mod that brings Better Than Wolves style blocks and mechanics to modern versions.
What it does
Better With Time takes its cues from the Better Than Wolves mod and carries them into modern Minecraft. The mod is also related to Better With Mods, though it draws less directly on that project. Its goal is a cohesive technical experience that keeps a vanilla feel, in the spirit of the 2011 and 2012 releases that pioneered many automation blocks, items and farming mechanics.
Players can use the new blocks and mechanics to build, automate and farm resources in many ways. Fabric API is required, and EMI and Just Enough Items (JEI) are optional companions for browsing recipes. Installation is needed on both sides of a connection. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.21.1, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license, which is not open source.
Three other mods require Better With Time: Better With Time: HC Tweaks, Trial by Farmer: Core and Corners BWT. Public links exist for the source code and the issue tracker. Bug reports should first be checked against existing issues, and should list the mods and version numbers in use so they can be resolved.
