Trial by Farmer: Core

by Bluestar_

Trial by Farmer: Core is a Fabric library that ties the Trial by Farmer modpack together and fills in its integration gaps.

FabricClient and serverMIT License1.21.1

What it does

The library integrates items, mechanics and recipes from ten required mods, so that they work together inside the modpack. It makes some changes to those mods to keep progression in order, including a fix for Paradise Lost's Bloomed Calcite, which no longer lets players skip the Calcite potion step.

Missing content is filled as well. Claymores and knives are added for the modded materials, and tables and siding are available for the other Better With Time blocks, in the modded wood and stone types. The library is published for 1.21.1 only, under the MIT License, and is not open source.

Client and server: the library is installed on both sides, so the server and every player need it. The mod also supports use outside Trial by Farmer, though with limited functionality and the required dependencies still in place.

Key features

  1. Progression fix for Calcite

Bloomed Calcite from Paradise Lost no longer lets players skip the potion step that makes Calcite.

  2. Gear recipes

Copper, Iron and Steel gears are crafted with the same pattern as the wooden gear in Better With Time.

  3. Modded weapons and tools

Claymores and knives are added for the modded materials in the modpack.

  4. Modded building blocks

Tables and siding are added for the Better With Time blocks in the modded wood and stone types.
