Better Crosshair

Better Crosshair replaces the vanilla crosshair with a custom design that players can shape, recolour and resize, and that changes when the player aims at an entity.

What it does

The mod draws its own crosshair in one of three shapes: cross, dot or square. Size, thickness and gap can each be adjusted, and the colour can be set anywhere in full RGB. When the player aims at an entity, the crosshair can switch to a red recolour, so a target stands out at a glance.

A separate option hides the crosshair unless the player is aiming at someone, which keeps the screen clear while exploring. The mod runs on the client alone, so servers do not need it, and it has to be installed alongside Fabric API. Settings are changed through Mod Menu. Files are published for Fabric only, with builds covering 1.21.11 – 26.1.2 across four release versions.
