Spotify Displayer
by x1eqn
Spotify Displayer shows the track playing in the Spotify desktop app as a movable HUD widget inside Minecraft, with the title, artist and album cover.
What it does
The mod reads the Spotify desktop app on the same machine and draws a widget that lists the current track's title and artist, the album cover, and a live playing indicator. Login uses the Spotify account through OAuth, so the player signs in once and the widget then keeps tracking playback. The mod needs Fabric Loader and Fabric API to run, and Mod Menu is optional.
Because the widget is drawn on the client, the server does not need the mod and players can join without installing it. Released under the MIT License, the mod is not open source. Files are published for Fabric only, across 8 release versions 1.21 – 26.1.2, and the latest build is 1.0.0+26.1.2 for 26.1.2, dated 2026-06-15.
Key features
Now-playing widget
The HUD shows the artist, song title and a live playing indicator for the track in the Spotify desktop app.
Automatic album cover
The cover art is fetched on its own and drawn at a crisp, pixel-perfect size beside the track details.
Movable overlay
The widget can be dragged to any spot on the screen, and its size can be scaled from 50% to 250%.
Background options
Background opacity is adjustable, and the widget can be set to stay visible or hide while playback is paused.
Rounded modern styling
The widget's edges are softened with anti-aliasing and rounded, Spotify-green highlights sit on top of it, and the text is set in the Sora typeface, which keeps the overlay tidy.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players who listen to Spotify on the same computer as Minecraft and want the current track visible in the game. The widget runs on the client alone, so it suits single-player and multiplayer clients alike.
