Baubley Heart Canisters
by Traverse_Joe
With Baubley Heart Canisters, the heart canisters return as items that sit in a Bauble or Curios slot, with a new set of drops and recipes.
What it does
Canisters come in four tiers: red from hostile mobs, yellow from boss mobs such as the Wither, green from the Ender Dragon and blue from Wardens or Evokers, depending on the game version. The drop sources can be changed in the config, and each tier can also be crafted from the tier below it.
The Heart Amulet holds every canister in one slot, and the Soul Heart Amulet also holds Soul Canisters. A Soul Canister fits only the Soul Amulet, heals to full health like a Totem of Undying when consumed, and then turns back into a blue canister. Starting health can be set in the config.
Vitality Blades use canisters to add attack damage, two points per canister. Wither Bones drop from Wither Skeletons, and Relic Apples craft from diamonds and emeralds to grant short potion effects. The Warden drops Echo Shards in this mod, which makes them renewable. Baubley Heart Canisters requires Curios API, and the code is open source under the MIT License.

How it compares
Tinkers' Innovation runs on Forge and NeoForge for 1.18.2 – 1.20.1 with both sides needed, and is open source under the MIT License. TConJEI is client-side only and open source under the MIT License for the same range, so it changes nothing on servers. Baubley Elytra is a Forge mod for 1.12.2 under a custom license and is not open source.
