Swift is a Fabric enchantment for boots that raises walking speed, jump height and step height, and reduces fall damage.
What it does
The enchantment is added to boots and is available at two levels by default. Each level grants the benefits listed below, so players who want a more fluid way of moving around can apply it through the usual enchanting or anvil process. The Swift enchantment is meant for adventurers, builders and anyone who spends time traversing terrain.
Swift requires Cloth Config API, Fabric API and Mod Menu. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The mod is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source. Source code is publicly available. The file for 1.20.1 is the only game version it targets, with 1.2.2 as the latest file, published on 2025-04-03 after a first release on 2025-02-27.

Boots carrying Swift increase movement speed, and sprinting covers more ground than usual.

The enchantment raises jump height and lets the player walk up blocks without jumping.

At the highest level, falls under four blocks deal no damage, in line with Feather Falling IV.
