Az's QoL Recipes

by Azturax

Az's QoL Recipes adds a set of extra crafting recipes for NeoForge that convert common materials into one another, bulk-process stacks, and uncraft some items back into their parts.

NeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.21.1 – 26.1.2

What it does

Players gain recipes for converting between materials that vanilla leaves out, such as crafting two logs into sixteen sticks, eight logs into four chests, and nine bones into three bone blocks. Dyed glass and dyed wool can be turned back into their undyed forms, and mushrooms can be packed into mushroom blocks or a stem block. Nether materials such as netherwart and magma cream get matching blocks, and honeycomb, amethyst, dripstone, mud and terracotta follow the same pattern.

The mod is installed on client and server, and the server and every player need it. Files are published for NeoForge in two game versions, 1.21.1 and 26.1.2, with 1.0.6 for 26.1.2 as the latest. The code is not open source; the author holds All rights reserved on the mod.

Key features

  1. Bulk compacting recipes

Blocks and grouped items are compacted into and expanded from single stacks, such as four netherwart into one netherwart block.

  2. Smelting and conversion

Rotten flesh, leather and other drops convert into more useful materials, and sticky pistons can be crafted from honeycomb and honey bottles.

  3. Uncraft and undye

Some crafted items can be taken apart again, and dyed glass or wool returns to its undyed form.

  4. Mushroom and bone packing

Brown and red mushrooms pack into mushroom blocks, and bone blocks convert to bonemeal in a fixed ratio.
