Ars Elixirum
by Obscuria
Players who want to brew potions beyond the vanilla list can use Ars Elixirum, which adds extension potions, alchemy ingredients and recipe sharing to the game.
What it does
Ars Elixirum extends potion crafting with hundreds of ingredients, each with its own alchemical properties. Combining them in new ways produces potions that vanilla brewing does not offer, including Aura Potions and effects that weaken enemies in specific situations. Food can be infused with magical properties, and Witch Totems of the Undying can be crafted through the alchemy system.
Ingredient properties are dynamic: the seed of a world determines what each ingredient does, so exploration stays fresh across playthroughs. Brewing still follows the familiar vanilla rules. In-game hints and a wiki guide players through changes and additions, and a wiki section on customizing the mod is planned. Ars Elixirum requires Archivist and Fragmentum. The server and every player need the mod installed. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with builds for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 under a custom license that is not open source.
