Armor Upgrades adds new armor tiers for Minecraft Java Edition, with stats set between iron and netherite and a set of effects for players wearing full sets.
What it does
The mod adds armor sets named Fire, Ender, Prismarine, Dune and Sculk, each with its own attribute changes. Stats include extra max health, attack speed, movement speed, underwater mining and oxygen, and an entity interaction range bonus. Durability matches the diamond armor set, while the armor toughness falls between iron and diamond. Recipes for the new sets become available once a player obtains diamond, so the upgrades are reached through normal progression.
Full sets trigger effects: fire resistance for the Fire set, conduit power for the Prismarine set, and immunity to harmful effects for the Sculk set, while a glowing outline lights up the surface around a wearer. The mod is server required with the client optional, so a server must run it for the armor and effects to work, and players may leave it out. Files exist for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the code is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later, with source code publicly available. A data pack version is also published for servers.
