aolu Rapiers

by Aolu

With aolu Rapiers installed, a Data Pack adds a craftable hybrid weapon that sits between a sword and a spear in use.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalMIT License1.21.11

What it does

The rapier acts as a hybrid of a sword and a spear. It allows quick strikes at close range and slower reaches at longer distance. With correct combos, attack chains can swiftly bring down a foe along a path, and a sprint before a dash increases dash damage. Strength and speed potions help players gain extra damage with it.

The weapon is added by a Data Pack, so it works in a world without a Java mod on the client. Required dependency aolu Common Resources must be installed alongside it. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.21.11 only, and the server must run it while players may skip it. The code is under the MIT License and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Hybrid sword and spear

The rapier mixes quick close-range strikes with slower attacks that reach further than a sword.

  2. Combo attack chains

Correct input combos chain attacks together, letting a player move along a path through several foes.

  3. Dash damage boost

Sprinting before a dash raises the damage the dash deals.

  4. Craftable weapon

The rapier is a craftable item added through the Data Pack, so it can be made and used in survival play.
