Anime Hologram
by Sylsatra
Anime Hologram renders 3D holograms inside tinted-glass cuboids, and redstone signals select which model and animation play in each one.
What it does
Once a filled tinted-glass cuboid exists somewhere in the world, a player aims at a tinted-glass block and the holo watch detects it without any further input. Models are placed in the run directory under .minecraft/hologram/models, inside one folder per three-digit zero-padded model code. Each folder holds a model file in PMX, PMD, GLB, GLTF or VRM format, along with VMD animation files such as Idle.vmd or Walk.vmd. Redstone commands then select the model and animation to show. The mod ships no models or animations of its own, so the content comes from the player or server owner.
The rendering is built on the BlazeRod rendering library, using a CPU transform path that is the default. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Control goes through a Universal Edge Bus that carries redstone signals, with a model code, an animation code and a control code, and a parameter bus for scale and offsets quantized to 0 to 15. Helpful commands detect, map, watch and manage cuboids, and the holo map output contains clickable teleport coordinates.
The mod is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, with public source code and an issue tracker. It targets Fabric alone and is published for 1.21.8 only, as the single 1.0.0 file released on 2025-09-18. Fabric Loader, Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin are required.
