AngleSnap
by contaria
AngleSnap, from contaria, lets players save precise viewing angles and camera positions for aiming and building redstone contraptions.
What it does
Players press F6 in a world to bring up the AngleSnap screen, which holds saved angles that can be added, edited and removed. Clicking a saved angle snaps the crosshair to it, and the screen closes at once unless the edit button was pressed first. Pressing F7 toggles an overlay that draws icons for the saved angles, so their positions can be seen during play.
Pressing F8 opens the CameraSnap screen, where camera positions are added, edited and removed. Clicking a saved camera position moves the camera there while the viewing angle stays synced with the actual player. The overlay can be configured through Mod Menu by pressing the gear icon beside either the AngleSnap or CameraSnap screen, including enabling Snap Markers that show the crosshair snapping to precise angles when hovered near them.
The mod requires Fabric API and runs on the client alone. Mod Menu is optional. Builds target 1.21.4 – 1.21.8, and the latest file, 0.8.0+mc1.21.6-1.21.8, is for 1.21.8, published 2025-07-30. AngleSnap is open source under the MIT License.
Key features
Saved precise angles
Exact yaw and pitch values can be stored, edited and removed from the F6 screen for later reuse.
Saved camera positions
The F8 screen keeps camera positions that can be moved to with a click, while the view direction stays synced.
Overlay icons
The F7 overlay draws icons for every saved angle, so their locations are visible during play.
Snap markers
An optional setting shows markers that pull the crosshair onto precise angles when the cursor hovers near them.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players who build redstone contraptions or need repeatable aim in singleplayer. Because it is client-side only, a server does not need the mod installed.
