Pylon Helper

by snerill

Pylon Helper, a Fabric utility for Minecraft 1.21.10 – 1.21.11, aims to make wireless teleporting with Squibble's Mirror Pylon easier by fixing the angle the player aims at.

FabricClient-side onlyAll rights reserved1.21.10 – 1.21.11

What it does

The mod works with Squibble's Mirror Pylon and targets it with a snapping aim, so a player who wants to reach a chosen point does not have to line up the camera by hand. Snapping is offered at 16 possible angles, which are the angles the machine accepts. A preview of the selected snap angle is shown in an in-game menu before the player confirms it.

Each of the 16 angles can be given a custom name, so players can label the positions they use most often. The author states that the project is unofficial and not affiliated with the original creators. Pylon Helper is client-side only, so servers run without it and only the player who installs it needs the file. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Sixteen snap angles

The camera snaps to one of 16 angles that the Mirror Pylon supports, so aiming is repeatable.

  2. Angle preview menu

An in-game menu shows the snap angle that will be used before the teleport is started.

  3. Custom angle names

Each angle can be renamed, so a player can keep track of destinations by name instead of by number.

  4. Mirror Pylon support

The snapping works with the wireless teleport machine added by Squibble's Mirror Pylon.

Use cases

Repeated pylon trips

A player who returns to the same destinations can save each snap angle under a name and select it again.

Precise aiming

Snapping to fixed angles removes the need to adjust the view manually each time a teleport is made.

Who it’s for: Players who use Squibble's Mirror Pylon on Fabric and want repeatable aiming. Only the client needs the mod, so it can be added to a single-player world or to a client joining a server.
