AmbiClick
by Kr3akz
With AmbiClick, a single mouse button handles both attacking and building, so the left-click key no longer has to switch meaning between combat and block breaking.
What it does
AmbiClick swaps the left and right mouse buttons for swords, maces, tools and usable items, so the same key performs attacks, block breaking, building and use. Holding a sword, axe or mace makes left-click attack, while a pickaxe, shovel or hoe makes it break blocks, and a held block makes it place. Consumables such as food, potions, bows and buckets are used with left-click as well.
The mod keeps the original controls for containers such as chests, barrels, shulker boxes and hoppers, and for workstations such as crafting tables, furnaces, anvils and enchanting tables. Interactive blocks like doors, buttons and levers, and entities such as villagers, minecarts, boats, horses and item frames, also keep their usual behavior. When the player is looking at one of them, click inversion is disabled automatically, so these objects can still be opened or ridden.
Installation needs Fabric API, Cloth Config API and Mod Menu. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.21.10 and 1.21.11; the latest is 1.3.0 for 1.21.11. AmbiClick runs on the client alone, so servers do not need it. The code is released under the MIT License and is not open source.
Key features
Per-category inversion
Click inversion can be toggled separately for swords, tools, blocks and usable items, so each group can follow a different habit.
Interaction override switch
The override can be turned on or off in the settings, which restores the vanilla left and right click roles at any time.
Live settings
Changes to the inversion options apply immediately, without restarting the game.
Mod Menu configuration
All options are reached through Mod Menu, and the interface is available in English and German.

How it compares
Mace Bros. Attack FABRIC is client-side only under the MIT License and is published for 1.21.1, while AmbiClick covers 1.21.10 – 1.21.11. Mace Music+ is also client-side only and MIT licensed, with files for 1.21.10 – 1.21.11, but it adds music rather than changing click handling. Mace Limiter is server-side only under the CC0 1.0 Universal license and covers 1.21 – 26.3, so a server can run it without any client-side install.
