Amber (Jade)
Amber is a maintained fork of the Jade block and entity tooltip mod for Minecraft 1.16.5 on Forge, with addon integrations for several other mods.
What it does
Amber is a fork of Jade that keeps the 1.16.5 Forge version of the tooltip overlay working. Hovering over a block or entity shows what it is and what state it is in. The fork adds integration with Applied Energistics 2 channels, Create speed and stress values, Farmer's Delight mushroom colony age and FE energy display, for players who run those mods alongside it.
The mod runs on the client only, so servers do not need it and players can join a server without installing it. Amber needs McJtyLib to start, and Just Enough Items (JEI) and the optional integrations are read when they are present. It is published for Forge 1.16.5 only, with the latest file 1.2.3 dated 2024-10-07. Amber is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license and is not open source, though its source code is public. Amber is not compatible with the original Jade mod and should not be installed alongside it.
