What it does

Custom music discs are loaded from audio files placed in the config directory, so a server or player can add tracks without changing the game's own sound assets. The mod requires DigitalityAPI, which must be installed alongside it on Forge for 1.16.5.

Modern Custom Discs targets 1.16.5 only, with the latest Forge file being 1.2, published on 2023-02-13. Both client and server need the mod, and it is released under the MIT License as open source.

This mod allows you to add custom music discs into the game by just adding a couple of files to your config directory. We created it because the only other 1.16.5 mod that allows you to add custom discs is MCDJ, which has too many features for our goals.
