Allurement
Allurement adds and changes enchantments for armor, weapons, crossbows and gear, and most of them alter how combat plays out.
What it does
Alleviating heals the wearer when experience orbs are collected, Launch throws a struck target upward instead of pushing it away, and Reeling pulls mobs toward the shooter when a crossbow bolt lands. Reforming restores durability on enchanted gear very slowly over time, Shockwave on boots releases a blast whose force grows with the height of a fall, and Vengeance stores a share of incoming damage and adds it to the next attack. Spread of Ailments copies the user's active potion effects onto crossbow arrows, and Curse of Fleeting makes a dropped item run away from its owner.
The mod needs Blueprint, which must be installed alongside it. Allurement runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, across the 1.16.5 – 1.21.1 range, with 5.0.2 for 1.21.1 as the newest NeoForge file and 4.0.0 for 1.20.1 as the newest Forge file. The mod is not open source and is released under a custom license.
