Alex's Caves: Enriched is a Forge addon that adds enriched uranium rods, new nuke types and a uranium enrichment process to Alex's Caves.
What it does
The addon changes how players obtain and craft nuclear bombs, and it improves the effects of the nukes that Alex's Caves already provides. Enriched uranium rods are a block added here, and a centrifuge and a nuclear furnace turn uranium into the enriched material. A guidebook entry named alexscaves:uranium walks players through the early steps, and it requires Patchouli.
The mod needs Alex's Caves, Citadel, Cloth Config API and Kotlin for Forge to run. With EMI installed, its recipe viewer also lists the new recipes along with transmutations that happen to blocks in the world. The environment is client and server, and the mod is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so the source code is open. Files exist for 1.20.1 only, and the latest Forge build, 1.0.6, was published on 2026-05-03.

Enriched uranium rod block
A rod block made from enriched uranium is added as a new placeable part of the nuclear content.
Overhauled nuclear explosion
The explosion of a nuke is reworked, with its effects changed from the original Alex's Caves behavior.
New nuke types
Mini-nuke, neutron bomb and black hole bomb join the bombs that players can craft and detonate.
Rocket launcher and uranium items
Extra rocket types, a uranium arrow and uranium candy extend the weapons and food tied to uranium.
Server performance settings
Server-side options allow lowering the cost of explosions on weaker hardware, starting with the least impactful settings.
